The adventures of a girl far away from her homes..
So I’m not sure why, but I’m feeling extremely lethargic today… One of those days I can’t eat and probably could sleep all day. I’m going to eat into my emotions this morning. But I have to stop. Time is continuing to pass and I’m not closer, maybe even further, from my goals. What the fuck? Get yourself together!
And no, no one is dead. Yet. I just mailed off my payment for the 7th Shonan International Marathon in Tokyo on November 3rd. I’m only doing the 10km but now I’ve got a goal
Fuck?
Yay?
Bah!!!
So today is day three of doing yoga every morning and evening. Not too strenuous of yoga but I’m doing some routines by the amazing Tara Stiles. And I have to say, her newest morning yoga for strength is working. I can feel my ab muscles this morning for sure. I’m trying to make sure I do a good 15-20 mins of regular yoga in the afternoon as well. Which can be hard unless I’m at one specific school. And not wearing dress pants. Lol. But since I have another JET staying at my place Friday night I’m in full cleaning mode tonight and that means my floor will be VERY open for Tara’s weight loss yoga sequence. Its a challenging sequence but if I can start to master that along with eating better I hope some of this weight will come off. I’m also going to go on a liquor cleanse next month. From May 30-June 30 no alcohol for me! Hopefully I can do it. It’s not cause I CAN’T not have a drink, but usually social obligations “require” me too. Damn Japan. Lol. But June 30th will be a great celebration cause it’s the Canada Day party in Fukuoka. Over 700 people will be there and I think that’s be a great day to let loose and have fun! Thankfully with sending so much money home this month and hopefully I’ll get my tax return soon, I can spend this months money on some things I really need: a new fridge and a working blender. Mmm how I miss smoothies. I’ve also noticed I’ve been of a calmer, happier mind set since starting yoga on mon. How I missed it. I’ve developed some determination and I just gotta stick to it.
Cheer me on!
